Beware! Bombs


A deadlier foe is among the stars, one which should not be taken too lightly.

Whether it be through Chaos Cards, or a more devastating enemy.

The team has decided that rockets are not scary enough on their own. 

Implementation

The visual effect was created using the particle system and Lerping a simple sprites size and transparency. Along with a simple script that plays the explosion particle effect at the precise time of impact. 

The mechanics were composed by adding bomb damage to the health manager script, screen shake and force from the impact using the rigid body system. 

And then a prefab was created so the bombs could easily be added to the scene at any time or location required.

Kaboom.
