Chaos Card: Boss


Through trial and error and many nights spent brainstorming on how to implement the behemoth that became Chaos Card: Boss.

We are happy to announce that we can check this Chaos Card off the list of tasks.

Create Chaos Card: Boss

The implementation of the boss was managed by devising this simple strategy:

  • Create 4 location vectors the boss would move to.
  • Develop 3 distinct behavior states the boss would randomly switch between. 

Behavior States:

  • Turret Mode: The boss fires rockets rapidly from left to right.
  • Bomb Mode: The boss shoots 5 bombs, aiming for the players location.
  • Canon Mode: The boss fires a single devastating canon.
